On an overnight trip in Redwoods National Park in California, Fr. Nathan explores the hidden worlds of the some of the oldest living organisms on the planet. Wandering amid lush forests burgeoning with life and through the shadows of Redwood giants towering above, he descends to the roots of life and of our capacity for communication with God and with each other as he reflects on the life of prayer.
