Traversing a tidal wasteland known as "purgatory," Fr. Nathan reaches the remote Pacific coastline of Olympic National Park shrouded in the mists of the Pacific Northwest. From the colorful and close-up world of tidepools, to sweeping ocean views dotted by mysterious isles, to evenings serenaded by the pounding surf, Fr. Nathan reflects on awakening to the immense yet tender abyss of divine love.
Questions for Reflection:
What events in my life could I point to that have awakened my heart to the limitless mystery of divine love?
What do I feel when I consider that God may have created the entire cosmos just to get to know me and to show me something endlessly beautiful?
Even in the immense and vast mystery of God's love, in what ways do I feel the tender littleness of God's love in my life?
How does God make himself small in my life so that I may come to know his limitless love?
