Healing Service, Wakefield
The Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine, 47 Butler Avenue, will hold a Healing Service at 2:00 p.m. There will be eucharistic adoration, confessions, recitation of the rosary, and Mass at 3:00 p.m., followed by the Sacrament of the Sick and individual prayer. There will be four healing priests for sacraments and prayer.
First Friday Service, Hanover
From May through October, First Friday of the Sacred Heart Devotions will take place at Portiuncula Chapel, Cardinal Cushing Centers, 405 Washington Street, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. It includes adoration and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and recitation of the rosary, followed by the Stations of the Cross. Healing Service, Duxbury
A Healing Service, led by Deacon Jack Sullivan, will take place in the chapel at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, on the third Friday of every month. The event will begin with Evening Prayer at 5:00 p.m., followed by Benediction before the Healing Service. In July 2009, Pope Benedict XVI announced that Deacon Jack’s sudden and remarkable healing from a crippling spinal injury -- after prayer for Cardinal John Henry Newman’s intercession -- was a miracle, which led to Cardinal Newman’s beatification in September 2010. The Healing and Restoration Ministry at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1545 Tremont Street, welcomes you to a Monthly Healing Service with Father Anthony Michalik, CSsR. The service, which includes anointing of the sick and laying of hands, is handicapped-accessible and open to all. The Healing Service begins at 2:00 p.m. and ends just before the 4:00 p.m. liturgy.
