Monday, July 1, 5:30-6 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Serra: Ever Forward, Never Back." First episode of a five-part biography of St. Junipero Serra (1713-1784). This installment, titled "Knights of the Cross," covers the Franciscan priest's early life from his birth in Mallorca to his departure for the New World. The profile continues nightly through Friday, July 5, 5:30-6 p.m. EDT each night (TV-G -- general audience).

Tuesday, July 2, 8-9 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Galileo's Moon." On this episode of the series "Secrets of the Dead," experts examine an alleged proof copy of Galileo's revolutionary "Sidereus Nuncius" (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Thursday, July 4, 8-9:30 p.m. EDT (PBS) "A Capitol Fourth." An Independence Day salute to America's 243rd birthday (TV-G -- general audience).

Saturday, July 6, 3-4 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Marian Procession From the Holy Land." A monthly rosary procession from the site of the Annunciation and Incarnation in Nazareth (TV-G -- general audience).
