Healing Service, Wakefield

The Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine, 47 Butler Avenue, will offer a Healing Service at 2:00 p.m. The service begins with adoration, confession, and the rosary. The celebration of Holy Mass will follow at 3:00 p.m., after which the Healing Team, consisting of four to five priests, will administer the Sacrament of the Sick and a personal healing prayer. Baby Jesus Party, Dedham

Join us at Pauline Books and Media, 885 Providence Highway, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a Baby Jesus Party. The party will include a birthday cake for Baby Jesus, face-painting, a chance to meet and greet St. Nicholas, and the opportunity to dress in Nativity scene costumes (costumes provided for both children and adults) and take photos with a life-size statue of Baby Jesus in the manger.

Living Nativity, North Reading

All are invited to a beautiful retelling of the birth of Jesus, narrated to music amid a backdrop of colorful costumes and props, and acted by people of all ages. The Living Nativity at St. Theresa Parish, 63 Winter Street, will be presented at 5:15 p.m. (The snow date is Dec. 8 at 2:00 p.m.) St. Nicholas will come at the conclusion to bring children up to the manger to see the baby Jesus. After, all are invited to the parish hall for refreshments and fun.

Family Advent Celebration, North Easton

The Father Peyton Center, 518 Washington Street, will host a Christmas carol family sing-along from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. There will be crafts and food and no admission charge for the event; however, your generosity can help raise the $400,000 to repair the Virika Cathedral roof in the Fort Portal Diocese, Uganda.
