BOSTON -- The organizers of the second annual “Moving Towards the Light” Social Justice Conference have announced that the conference has been postponed because of low registration due to conflict with other seasonal events taking place in the Boston area during the same weekend.

The conference has been rescheduled for Nov. 18.

The Social Justice Conference was originally to be held April 28 at Boston College High School. Through a series of workshops and discussions, the conference was intended to bring awareness to the Catholic social mission and the issue of justice in parish life.

The Labor Guild and all other archdiocesan offices involved expressed their gratitude to those who have demonstrated interest in the program. More information about the conference is expected to be available in the fall.
