The new Provincial Leadership of the Congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence, Marie de la Roche Province, recently began their five year term in office after having been elected at the November 2006 Chapter of Elections.

Sister Mary Francis Fletcher, CDP, is Provincial Director and Sister Barbara McMullen is Assistant to the Provincial.

Sister Mary Francis Fletcher has been invloved in community leadership for the past 15 years, first in the former Our Lady Province in Kingston and then, after restructuring of the provinces, she was elected as a councilor on the leadership team of the newly formed province. Sister Mary Francis Fletcher formerly ministered at the Sacred Heart High School in Kingston as secretary and administrative assistant to the principal.

Councilors of the newly elected Provincial Leadership Team are Sisters Marilyn Bergt, CDP, Maria Fest, CDP, Lisa Paffrath, CDP, Ann Pairn, CDP, and Carol Stenger, CDP.
