BOSTON -- Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston (CCAB) announced June 29 that Frances Kellogg Troutman has joined the social services agency as Director of Catholic Charities North in Lynn. In her new position, Troutman will be responsible for the administration and fundraising efforts for diverse social service and educational programs serving more than 6,000 families at five locations on the North Shore.

According to Catholic Charities' president, Deborah Kincade Rambo, LICSW, "Fran has been a dedicated member of the Catholic Charities team for many years. We are proud to have her as our new director of Catholic Charities North."

Troutman has been with Catholic Charities for 28 years as the Director of Education and Training Services for the North region. Under her leadership the agency has developed strategic education and employment training programs to enhance the career and economic opportunity of low income youth and adults. In addition, she has helped to form collaborations to provide services for high risk and proven risk youth.

Previously, Troutman was the Director of Family Life Services at the former St. Margaret's Hospital for Women in Dorchester.
