Xaverian students contribute to an evolving world
"At Xaverian, our mission compels us to help each young man develop his unique gifts and talents, empowering servant leaders who are ready to answer God's call to contribute to an ever-evolving world," says Dr. Jacob Conca '94, Ph.D., Xaverian's head of school. "This school year, we have seen our students jump into action to support a variety of needs and causes, and it is so phenomenal to see that our mission is alive in each of these young men," he adds. Dr. Conca is referencing a group of Xaverian students who, through their own initiative, have dedicated themselves to serving others. Whether it's addressing food insecurity, raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's and breast cancer research, supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities, or building sustainable transportation options, these young men are putting their talents and their zeal to work as servant leaders. Here are five of their stories.
