Eight religious brothers will celebrate the golden anniversaries of their religious professions as Jesuits, Franciscans (Holy Name Province) and Oblates, while Brother Paul Santoro, OFM will celebrate his silver jubilee as a Franciscan.

The wealth of their personal experience and the great variety of ministries each has provided to his own religious family, to the Church in other places and to all of us here in the archdiocese is a tremendous gift. Their sainted founders: Francis of Assisi, Ignatius of Loyola, and Eugene de Mazenod would be rightly proud of their sons.

These men have served in schools and parishes, in classrooms and offices, in food preparation and community administration and in prayer and community life.

Happy Anniversary, brothers and many thanks for your service.
