NEW YORK (CNS) -- Here are some television program notes for the week of Sept. 2 with their TV Parental Guidelines ratings if available. They have not been reviewed and therefore are not necessarily recommended by Catholic News Service.

Sunday, Sept. 2, 10-11 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Franciscan University Presents: Martin Luther and the Reformation Today." Scholars from Franciscan University and guest experts discuss the ongoing impact of the Protestant Reformation (TV-G -- general audience).

Monday, Sept. 3, 10-11:30 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Voices of the Sea." This "POV" presentation follows a thirtysomething Cuban mother of four longing for escape and a better life (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Tuesday, Sept. 4, 10 p.m.-midnight EDT (PBS) "Ex Libris: The New York Public Library." Acclaimed filmmaker Frederick Wiseman's documentary explores one of the greatest libraries in the world (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Friday, Sept. 7, 8-9 p.m. EDT (ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, others) "Stand Up to Cancer." Live fundraising special, broadcast from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, and featuring, among many others, Kathy Bates, Katie Couric, Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Marlee Matlin, Matthew McConaughey, David Spade, Keith Urban and Reese Witherspoon.
