TV program notes -- week of Aug. 26, 2018

NEW YORK (CNS) -- Here are some television program notes for the week of Aug. 26 with their TV Parental Guidelines ratings if available. They have not been reviewed and therefore are not necessarily recommended by Catholic News Service.

Sunday, Aug. 26, 1:30-3 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Missa Solemnis." This episode of the series "In Concert" features a performance from the Staatskapelle in Dresden, Germany, under the direction of Fabio Luisi, celebrating the reopening of that city's Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) (TV-Y -- all children).

Monday, Aug. 27, 10-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Nowhere to Hide." This documentary, a "POV" presentation, follows nurse Nori Sharif through five years of dramatic change in one of the world's most dangerous areas: central Iraq.

Wednesday, Aug. 29, 9-10 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Ancient Invisible Cities: Athens." First episode of a three-part series in which professor Darius Arya, an archaeologist and historian, explores a trio of ancient cities. The series continues Wednesdays through Sept. 12, 9-10 p.m. EDT each night (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).
