The Most Rev. Paul F. Russell, who was named titular archbishop of Novi and apostolic nuncio to Turkey and Turkmenistan by Pope Francis on March 19 will be ordained to the episcopacy on June 3, 2016, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Mass of Episcopal Ordination will be celebrated in the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston's South End at 2 p.m.
The Archbishop-elect was ordained a priest at the cathedral by Cardinal Bernard Law on May 20, 1987.
